How do I get the app for Hive on my smartphone?

The Hive app is available for Android and iOS users – you can download the iOS app from the App Store or download the Android app from the Google Play Store. You will need an Apple iPhone or iPad using iOS 7 or later or a device running Android (minimum 4.0.3) with GPS. You can also use Hive on Kindle Fire, just search for it in the Amazon App store. If accessing the Hive app from the online dashboard these are the minimum supported browser versions:

Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 (desktop & mobile)
Mozilla Firefox 33
Google Chrome 29 (37 for mobile)
Apple Safari 7

Exclusions and exceptions:

• The Hive Android app is unsupported on Blackberry (we do not officially support Blackberry devices), phablet devices and tablets.
• Hive is not supported on older Android devices that describe themselves as having "small" screens (typically 240x320 and smaller). If an Android phone does not meet this criteria then our app will not be availabe in the Google Play Store when accessed from that device.

The Hive app is separate to the main British Gas smartphone app.
